The American and Middle East Network for Dialogue at Stanford (AMENDS) is a student coalition with the goal of fostering cultural exchange, understanding, and collaboration between the United States and the Middle East. The primary undertaking of this group would be an annual conference that brings together 40 exceptional student leaders from the United States and Middle Eastern countries. AMENDS also intends to serve as a medium for the dissemination of these student leaders’ unique ideas and experiences to the world. Videos of student presentations as well as other materials from the conference will be made available online. AMENDS would thereby create a forum for cross-cultural understanding accessible to all.
